Mac OS X – Remove files which resist in Trash

by on Apr.01, 2013, under News

Sometimes files you deleted won’t delete when emptying the trash. There’s an easy fix for this, though.

1. Enter the Terminal
2. Type:

cd .Trash/

3. Type:

rm *

Should work fine. If you get an error such as “Permission Denied” when deleting the files type:

sudo rm *
